Bad Bride - Good Bride

Top 3 Signs of a BAD Bride
(from a wedding planners perspective)
1. The bride is planning things without their planners knowledge.
To relieve the stress of planning your own wedding Brides hire a wedding planner but many still continue to plan what they've hired the planner to do. This creates mis-communication and a disconnection between the two, which may negatively effect your special day. It also makes hiring a wedding planner a waste of their time and total waste of your money.

2. Contacting your planner daily as if she/he is your best friend with the wedding months away.
Brides can easily overwhelm their planners with multiple conversations about the same subject. Discussing the various shades of the color "pink" is not meant to last a lifetime. This behavior takes the fun out of planning your event. Your time is valuable and so is your planners.

3. Changing your mind, again and again
Changing the specific color of a rose and the exact placement of that rose in your centerpiece arrangement is menial compared to the real reason your getting married. Once you make up your mind, stick with it! Be the beautiful and confident bride you are. Helpful Tip: Doing thorough research prior to making any decisions eliminates uncertainty on your end

Outstanding Wedding Location on Maui

The Haiku Mill

Located on the Island of Maui, this location is by far one of the most unique venues we've ever seen. Not only is this site historical in nature (an abandoned sugar mill dating back to the 1800's) it now has built in chandelier lighting, a waterfall that can change colors, a glass colored pavilion and much more.  First Class Weddings supports this venue's management and it's wedding planning team. This is a completely legal Maui wedding location that is absolutely stunning.

Calla Lily

Calla Lily Bouquet

Meanings: The meaning of the Calla Lily has been thought to represent Beauty. However, in the western world it's meaning best represents "Youthful Innocence".

This flower looks absolutely stunning when tied into a large french bouquet! Just remember that special care must be taken when selecting the Calla Lily as your flower of choice, the leaves are very sensitive and don't last long out of water. It is important that you select an experienced florist in order to achieve stunning results.

Stay tuned as we get ready to release our First Class directory of qualified florists. Look for the companies that carry the First Class "Seal". These companies have undergone a thorough application and interviewing process which warrants having your trust.

Hello Kitty Champagne

For Real! Hello Kitty Champagne.

Dressed in Pink, this bottle comes with a Hello Kitty pendant & Italian Flag. Yet don't let the name fool you, it's definitely not a kids beverage with a price tag of $50 a bottle. One bottle pours about 4 glasses so if you're having 100 guests you would need 25 bottles. This would put your Champagne toast costs at $ $1,250 + any applicable service fees. Try before you buy and pucker up pussy kat and take a sip!

Which comes first - Wedding Venue or Wedding Planner?

WHICH COMES FIRST, the Wedding Venue or the Wedding Planner?

The Pros & Cons of choosing a Wedding Venue first:
PRO: Client has full control over the venue.
CON: Wedding Planner does not.

*The planning process can be challenging for a planner if the wedding venue is secured first. Reason being is partly caused from needing to control the deliver, set-up and removal times as well as managing any of the on-site details. This would create a much less stressful experience for you.

The Pros & Cons of choosing a Wedding Planner first:
PRO: You have an expert at your fingertips, orchestrating your dream.
CON: If you choose the wrong planner.

*While interviewing planners can be tedious work, it may will be the most important first step in the overall planning process. This is where you have to ask yourself what is more important. Finding an expert to help you or simply doing everything yourself.

SO, WHICH COMES FIRST FOR YOU? The Wedding Venue or the Wedding Planner?
